Verifying your player tag

Entering your tag gets you in the door. Verifying it proves the account is actually yours — and unlocks war assignments, your personal dashboard, and the ability to add more accounts later.

Without verification, ClanForge can still show public clan and player data — that's all open through Supercell's API. Verification is what ties your ClanForge account to that specific player tag, so assignments, notes, and settings follow you.

To verify: open Settings → Accounts, and add your player tag if you haven't already. ClanForge looks up the name and clan tied to that tag and shows it back to you — make sure it's the right account before continuing.

Tap Verify and you'll be asked for your in-game API Token. This is a one-time check against Supercell's official verification endpoint — see the next article for exactly where to find it.

Tip: Verification is per-tag, not per-device. Reinstall ClanForge or switch phones and you'll verify the same tag again — quick, since you already know where the token lives.

Once verified, that tag joins your account's pool. Free accounts can verify up to 2 player tags; Pro unlocks up to 5. Switch between them from the pill above the Dashboard clan header.
