Push assignments aren't arriving
War Planner assignments sync live while the Wars screen is open and online. If a member was offline or had the app closed, reopening the Wars screen always fetches the latest plan — here's what to check if it still looks stale.
The live sync needs two things: an internet connection, and the Wars screen actually open on the member's device. If either was missing when the leader made a change, the device won't have received the live update — but it isn't lost. Reopening Wars, or pulling to refresh from any screen, re-fetches the current plan from scratch every time.
Tip: Phone notifications (war-start, donation milestones, CWL round starts) are a separate system from in-app live sync. They need notification permission granted to ClanForge at the OS level, the matching toggle on in Settings → Notifications, and a verified player tag. If you just reinstalled, open the app once and give it a minute — push tokens re-register automatically on foreground.
If assignments still look stale after reopening Wars and pulling to refresh, double-check the leader's edit actually saved — tapping away from a note field or caller picker commits the change immediately, but a half-finished edit (app closed mid-tap) won't have synced yet.
