"Rate limited" message

This one's on Supercell's side, not yours. ClanForge fetches clan and player data through a shared backend connection to the Clash of Clans API — when that connection hits its ceiling, you'll see this message instead of guessing at stale numbers.

All of ClanForge's clan and player data flows through one shared server-side connection to Supercell's API, cached for several minutes per clan to keep well under the limit. During high-traffic moments — season reset, a big in-game update, CWL kicking off across thousands of clans — that shared connection can occasionally get throttled anyway.

Tip: This isn't tied to your account, your device, or anything you did. The backend backs off automatically and retries within seconds — your last cached data stays visible underneath the message the whole time, so you're never looking at a blank screen.

What to do: wait a moment, then pull-to-refresh. It almost always clears within a minute. If the message sticks around for more than a few minutes across multiple screens, that points to a wider Supercell-side issue rather than anything local — worth a quick check in Discord to see if others are seeing it too.
